Ramadan is a staple month for dates.
Dates provide us with excellent health benefits and high nutritional value. Traditionally, dates are known as the food Muhammad ate when he broke from his fast. The reasons why dates are eaten in this holy month are:
1.Dates are an excellent source of fiber, sugar, magnesium, potassium, and have carbohydrates which will aid the body in maintaining health.
2. The carbohydrates found in dates also make the fruit a slower digesting food, much better than fried or fatty foods which digest fast and leave one hungry for more!
Is it necessary to eat odd number of dates.
“He who eats seven ‘Ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them.”
The Prophet used to eat an odd number of dates.
Eating an even number of dates is preferably a better option to avoid. The prophet (PBUH) used to eat an odd number of dates preferably 1,3,5,7,...
It is preferable to eat dates on odd numbers from a medical point of view.
According to medical opinion, People who suffer from diabetes and kidney problems are known to have a problem with the absorption of potassium and sugar into their systems.
It has been proven by medical research that every time someone consumes an even number of dates, the impact of them being converted to excess sugar and potassium.
However, with the consumption of an odd number, research has proven that the amounts consumed at odd numbers of dates are converted into carbohydrates which will provide energy to the body instead of excess sugar and Potassium.
Special thanks for someone wise :) for sharing this information with me, in which i am sharing with all of you.
Happy Ramadan & try to keep the dates at an odd number :)
